Non-provisional Application

To be eligible for free assistance from the LegalCORPS Inventor Assistance Program in turning a provisional application into a a non-provisional patent application and/or in responding to “office actions” or other communications from the USPTO,  inventor applicants — in addition to meeting income guidelines — must be Minnesota residents or operate a business in Minnesota.

To receive an application form to request assistance in this part of the Inventor Assistance Program, contact LegalCORPS at or at 612-332-2679.

To determine eligibility for assistance in this portion of the Inventor Assistance Program, LegalCORPS will apply income guidelines that are somewhat higher than those it applies for other sorts of transactional business law assistance.     (Because the patent application process itself involves numerous fees that the patent will be responsible for,  LegalCORPS has adopted separate income guidelines for the Inventor Assistance Program.)
