Inventors in Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin

Low-income inventors in Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin can get free assistance with non-provisional patent applications and patent prosecution through the Upper Midwest Patent Assistance Program, a collaboration between LegalCORPS and Mitchell Hamline School of Law.

Under agreements with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, LegalCORPS and Mitchell Hamline School of Law are working together to increase access to patent law pro bono assistance in the region.  To be eligible, applicants must meet income and other guidelines like the eligibility standards LegalCORPS applies for its Inventor Assistance Program in Minnesota.
