LegalCORPS’ mission is clear: to expand access to business law services for individuals and organizations by increasing equitable access to the business legal system by providing individuals and organizations with free business law services they could not otherwise afford. Our volunteer lawyers are experts in different areas of business law, providing our clients with the pro-bono assistance they need for their specific circumstances.

We aim to ensure that every individual and organization has equal access to the transactional legal services they need to prosper.

Through the generosity of our donors and volunteer attorneys, we can provide a wide range of free legal services to the populations we serve.

Our Brief Advice Clinics offer 30-minute sessions to discuss confidential business concerns and ask questions; specialized clinics, like those for non-profits, are regularly scheduled in the events calendar. In addition, Full Representation pro-bono is available to clients who qualify, and they receive the same attorney-client privileges and services as they would if they were paying.

Our special Inventor Assistance Program (IAP) is a unique initiative recognized by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) as the official patent pro-bono administrator for Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa and Wisconsin, ensuring innovators can secure their ideas without the strain on financial resources.
